Jolt (2021)

Kate Beckinsale movies are more often than not packed with action. This one might just have too much of it.

While the plot is interesting, a person that can’t find a way to control their own violent impulses, until she does… and then she loses it, both the solution and her restraints, then she is set to go after whoever killer her “cure”, the movie is just a bit… boring.

There’s only so much kicking, shooting and screaming one can take, and while I enjoy some action myself, there’s just something missing on this one. It just isn’t captivating.

The baby scene was unnecessary and added nothing to the plot or character building. And finally, the very last scene, the only one with Susan Sarandon, implies that we could have more of Jolt… Please don’t.
